Ocean and Maritime Engineering present particular challenges to numerical modelling in CFD that must be met with care and expertise.  Capturing the impact of ocean wave behaviour on structures and vessels requires an accurate capturing of the wave energy state and the interaction between the water and air phases.  Fluidics can model this behaviour for various applications including wave-energy converters in oceans or rivers, wave impacts on coastal structures and the hydrodynamics around maritime vessels.
